Since its establishment in 2019, Graduate School of Health Innovation, Kanagawa University of Human Services has been working on educational research on the field of healthy ageing connected with World Health Organization (WHO) closely. As one of our university's key features, we’ve been working toward the social implementation of healthy ageing by incorporating the perspective and methodologies of innovation with promoting public-private partnerships along with “Center for Innovation Policy” which was established at the same time with our university.
As a result of these achievements being recognized, we were designated as a WHO Collaborating Center on March 26, 2025. We will support WHO activities in three areas: Research, Training and Education, and Information Dissemination. The impact of population aging and declining birthrates is spreading worldwide even if the degree and speed varies. Through collaboration with WHO, we aim to gather our wisdom to address these important global issues by sharing best practices of Japan, a leading country in the field of aging society.
