On Tuesday, May 27th, graduate students of the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) visited SHI as a part of their program and joined a three-and-half hour event, organized by Dr. Hiroto Narimatsu, an SHI professor.

Following an introduction of our school from Dr. Narimatsu, Dr. Sho Nakamura, an SHI associate professor, Dr. Shafiur Rahman, an SHI junior associate professor, Dr. Kaname Watanabe, a researcher of CIP and two students from SHI master’s course and doctoral course gave presentations. They received many questions after their presentations. 

UMB graduate students and faculty members also gave short presentations and shared their research topics with us. It was a great opportunity for our students to meet graduate students and faculty members from other countries.
