Professor Yoshida and Jr. Associate Professor Kubota participated in the 5th WHOCC Forum held at the World Health Organization Regional Office (WPRO) in Manila, Philippines on November 4^th and 5th. The forum was composed of various programs including a keynote speech, a poster presentation session on each WHOCC’s activity, and group work. During the poster presentation session, we exchanged views on current and future activities with the participants. During group work, we analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of each WHOCC and shared the activities within the Western Pacific Region. Additionally, Mr. Nozaki from WPRO introduced future collaborative plans with Kanagawa Prefecture, our counterpart. We were designated as a WHOCC in March, and received the certificate from Dr. Piukala, the regional director of WPRO, at this forum. It was a good opportunity for us to strengthen our future activities and enhance collaboration with other facilities through this forum.
